Dr. Ithar Hassaballa is a behavioral scientist, strategist, and trusted advisor known for helping people and organizations navigate complexity with clarity, integrity, and care.
Her work sits at the intersection of behavioral science, public health, and systems transformation. She brings a rare ability to hold both rigor and humanity, supporting leaders and institutions as they make meaningful progress on issues that are often deeply complex, sensitive, and high-stakes.
Ithar’s approach is grounded in practice. She has led and supported large-scale initiatives across local, national, and global contexts, advancing equitable health outcomes, strengthening community systems, and guiding organizations through moments of change and decision-making. Her experience includes directing statewide population health strategies, advising policymakers through nonprofit and research institutions, building health equity infrastructure across regions, and leading youth-centered initiatives. Globally, she has contributed to efforts such as evaluating the Ebola response in partnership with the World Health Organization and teaching community psychology at the American University in Cairo.
